World AIDS Day - December 1, 2013

December 1st has marked World AIDS Day since 1988. It is one of the most recognized international health days, a time of reflection and action, a key opportunity to raise awareness locally and globally and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day 2013 theme: "Getting to zero: Zero New HIV Infections, Zero Discrimination and Zero AIDS-related deaths." World AIDS Day events run the week before and after December 1.

  • HIV Stigma Reduction Awareness Night - an open dialogue about HIV Stigma reductions with leaders from the Committee for Accessible AIDS Treatment (CAAT), Asian Community AIDS Services (ACAS), the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP), and the Anglican Church.
